Slight turn of the head
A small little smile
A tiny little nod
Makes all the difference in the world
Makes you stand out from all the rest
oh i forgot. that last post was my 300th! hahah. this blog and i have come a long way.
so today was eventful. hahaha. had a really fun time today. i went shooting!! it was so fun to shoot the shotgun. the first time ever!! but really expensive too. after one round, my arm was aching so badly. and i could barely hold the gun for more than the time taken to shoot one shot. but it was a really fun experience overall.
who wants to go can tell me! i bring you there! hahaha
anyway, i realised that there are a lot of self-centred people out there. self-centred and self-absorbed. they dont realise other people's frustrations or irritation at the way they do things, the way they behave.
read an article today. about the reasons why we cry. we cry when we are happy, we cry when we are frustrated, we cry when we are sad. in other words, we cry for all sorts of reasons. but when we cry, that is the one moment where we show our vulnerability to others. they get to see our true colours, crying illustrates our feelings at that point of time. sometimes, we choose to show others our feelings, sometimes, our feelings just overwhelm us so much that we let others see us unintentionally.
okay. once again, this whole post feels more like some soliloquy. just like Lady Macbeth's famous soliloquy which all boys would love(sweeping statement here) and what ms ow made us remember through all her crude-yet-humongously-funny jokes for Literature exam. talking about all these makes me reminize about Lit lessons back in sec4, where Lit was the most fun and enjoyable, despite the huge amount of quotes and literary devices and techniques we had to memorise to heart and use them accurately.
yes, i miss Literature. i envy all Lit students, especially those under Ms Ow. Lucky them.
yes, this brings me back to my point about this whole post and many others feeling like soliloques. that's one thing i hate about blogging. or maybe, im just a more private person who dont reveal much. or in a more direct way, i have trust issues.
but whatever it is, yes, this whole post was just a soliloquy.
