its the first day of 2008. well, 2007 was a crazy year. there were lots of ups and downs. i learnt more and felt even more. the year was good and it was also very bad. maybe it was a year of extremes, like from mugging really hard for O levels and then i was free the whole day to just plant myself in front of the tv. many things happened and i defintely felt what its like to have friends, true friends who are really there for u.

2007 has ended, i will definitely miss many things and people. i will miss my guide sisters (especially the four of us), 2e2'05 and 4e4'07 classmates. i will miss going to zhonghua, the green leafy school, the familiarity of everything in that school. zhonghua is indeed a second home and i definitely will miss this school.

anyway, countdown this year was different, particularly because i didnt celebrate the new year together with certain people whom i did for practically my whole life. but it was fun, nevertheless. in the day, i went to pick my mummy before going to queensway to shop around. then i went to my daddy's friend's house before meeting cinny, sophia, xinyi, carine and wan yi at city hall mrt. we then went to marina square to meet up with the boys, clement, jon(there! i said your name), ian, aslam, dingyao, on zen and many more. we then headed to esplanade to watch some live performances but we got so bored until we started playing cards. in the end, the security personnel made us stand up cos they said we were blocking the way. the performances were boring so we tried to make ourselves feel high.

at the stroke of midnight, there was a wonderful fireworks display. it was much nicer than the one during national day and it was jsut amazing. i stood there just gazing at the display in amazement. fireworks are just so nice and perfect and romantic. i love watching it. when i watch them, i feel like time has stopped ticking and the whole world will pause just to admire it. its just plain wonderful.

after the fireworks display, we left and went for supper at s'goon macs, after taking a long time to decide where to go. after supper, all of us broke into our little groups to take a cab home. it was so late by the time i reached home. i havent come home so late for a long long time alr.

anyway, it like 4.30am now and im too tired alr. so that's all for now.
