today will be a day i will never forget. four years have passed so quickly. the first day of school at zhonghua is still vivid in my mind. it seemed like it was yesterday where we were the freshman of Zhonghua. now, we are the most senior students and everything happened so quickly. time really flies. during the day, there were times where i felt so happy and times where i just wanted to break down and cry. the ceremony was sad at first but as time passed, it got not so sad. the speeches were funny and each speech had the same meaning. and that is each and every class had been through thick and thin and many different obstacles through which bonded them as a whole. gratitude was expressed to those teachers who had taught us before and their valuable lessons they imparted to us. today will probably be the only day were the entire cohort will clap together and greet each other with, "Happy graduation!". such sweet memories.
two years is really too short for us to get to know each other well. for some, i have known them for four whole years. other more, up to even 8 years. it is amazing that we managed to come this far. i will miss 4e4'07, the class with the greatest girls population. it has becomed our trademark. and the colour orange too! we have had a lot of accomplishments. like winning the best class for our sec 3 camp, winning the cheer competition during the Math and Science challenge for 2 consecutive years, winning 1st runner up and champion for Literary evening. we have come so far as a class. we transformed from a quiet class to a noisy class and i will miss the eating in class and the lame jokes of the boys. 4e4'07 has made a huge difference to my life at zhonghua and i will miss everyone. it was an honour to be the monitress last year and im glad that we have two capable monitor and monitress this year.
4e4'07 has made a huge difference in my life. it showed me how people can change their attitudes to one another within a short period of a few months. we changed from a class of different people to a class that can support and cheer each other on. we have grown closer over this past two years and i feel that time is not enough for us to know each other even better. no doubt we have grown closer but im sure we can be even closer. it was really sweet of mr wong to come back for our graduation and the cheer we greeted him with was from the bottom of our hearts. the time we spent with him was too short but nevetheless, it was a blessing to have two form teachers this year. we had a total of 4 form teachers, the most among the 4E. it is another trade of 4e4'07.
i will miss 4e4'07 a lot. the constant "shhh" made during e math and chem lesson to get everyone to keep quiet and the outbursts of others who cant take the noise. the fact that we will stay in class and eat our recess so we can study at the same time. the lameness of the boys and their nicknames for each and every single one of them. the fact that ian always annoy us by saying "class stand" out of the blue. there are many more.
i never regretted coming to 4e4 at all and we even got used to the idea of having 6 boys among 31 girls. we all ahve our own cliques that we are close to, but i think most of us are able to mingle well with others. i will never forget 4e4 and the wonderful times we spent together baking cookies and washing cars, and the times where we were scolded by ms leow or ms ow for our misconduct and lack of class unity. all these fond memories will remain close to my heart.
of course, not forgetting 2e2'05. we had a lot of fun together for two years and it was enjoyable being in this class. although we were a very extreme class and received a lot of scoldings for making too much noise, i will miss the times we had together as a class and im honoured to be the monitress for a year. a lot of work but i have gained a lot from that experience. many of my close friends are actually from 2e2'05 and im glad that we have a friendship for 4 whole years. people like cinny, wan zhen, carine and many more. i will miss each and everyone of you and i sincerely hope that we will have class gatherings often. do take the initiative to organise ok?
to all my guides besties. the past 4 years have been wonderful and it is great to know you all. many things happened and they caused us to bond even more. im greateful for having friends like you who will encourage and support me. i will not forget all the vigorous training we went through for syf, the countless days we had to sacrifice during the holidays to plan the Heritage Trail, the 4 camps we had and the times we spend laughing at stupid and lame stuff that yizhen and carine do, the shittiness of liqun, rubbish coming out from sherry and many more. we have grown together and have many memorable experiences. i hope that you will remember them and can look back on the days where we are young and carefree.
to everyone i know, do keep in touch and let's meet up as often as possible. i will miss everyone. =D
last but not least, i really appreciate the words of encouragement from Ms Leow and the countless life lessons from Ms Ow. i will remember your words and heed your advice whenever it is needed. Thanks to all teachers for your teachings and dedication to this noble job.
All the best to everyone for the Os! =D
