SYF IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally... after 3 months of preparation... it is over in jus 35 min... all our sweat n time... it paid off!! n ms alsagoff who constantly yell her head off at us told us we were good, drills were 10/10...
all of met at 12 today... by the time everything was settled, we went to national stadium where we had our lunch n water... we had one practice for the last time n around 3.20pm, we went to the holding area to rest before the parade... ms alsagoff made us finish one entire bottle of water... soon, the red cross ppl started singing song n the ncdcc joined in... so naturally, guides joined in as well... then ms alsagoff made us finish another bottle of water... by the time we finished, we went to form up bohind the ncdcc n waited for the parade to start... the choir sang a few songs n then it was our turn. we marched out neatly n the audience cheered... we stood longer than usual, around 35 min... n then the march past... the hat i was wearing was too big... could put my entire hand in... n when the wind blew during the parade, i could feel the hat almost flying away... fortunately it didn...
after the entire parade, we were dismissed. after this sat, we can finally sleep late on sat... for 3 months, i was unable to do that... although the sir from the npcc kept yelling at us, the syf has brought many of us closer n we get to know guides from other sch. i will miss the fun we had but not the trainings...
