Sec 1 orientation camp 06!!

Hey... sec 1 orientation was so fun!! being a facilitator was so fun n it was a new expreirence!!
On the 1st day, we had to report at 6.45 at the canteen... as usual felicia was late... as the briefing had not started, yizhen n i walked around the school... after that, we had attendence taking n a briefing of wad to do... we put our bags in the student centre n went up to our sec 1 classes... i m in charge of 1e5'06, i m the ic, together with shirrlyn from 3e3, daniel n regina from 2e4 n xiao han from 2e7. our group name is called venus... so nice right?? anyway, we went up to the class n brought them down to the parade square... then we had to wait for all the rest of the sch population to come down... the sec1s were so quiet... i was afraid that by the end of the camp, they wont be enthu...
after flag raising, we brought the sec 1 to the hall where they receive they CB... camp booklet... (heard this from felicia...) then we had to go look for our form teachers to tell them that our odt is working... but when i went down to the student centre to take our odt, it was locked... so we had to wait for casey( sec 2 councilor) to come n open... by the time i got my odt, ms lam has gone... so me n felicia went to look for our form teachers cos her teacher oso not there... felicia found hers but i couldn find ms lam... so we went back to the hall n give out the CB to all the sec 1s... while they hav briefing, we facialitators sat behind...
next is the sec 1 enrichment... during the enrichment, we facilitators slack bejind the hall n chit chat n sign autograph... lol... so lame... felicia wrote to me smth like this" u r my les partner..."(i cant remember...) then i wrote back..." i cant bear to break ur heart but i decided to step out n let u n ah gong be together..." i noe it is lame... haha... then after a while, felicia n i started walking around the school as we were very bored... we wanted to walk past our classes but when we walked past the 1st few clasrooms, everyone stared at us... so paiseh, so we went back... the sec 1s had recess untill abt 10.30... at 10.40, felicia n i went to look for 2e2 ppl... haha... then we went to the back of the hall to lie on the gym mats n then me, felicia, rui hong, yizhen, jia jie, oswell n edward started talking abt bian tai stuff...
later, the enrichment had games so we helped the sec1s... the 1st game was one person had to stand on a metal rod while 6 other ppl hold the rods so she can move from one end to the other... the next game was to see who can make the longest line with the belongings on their body... n guess who won?? 1E5!!! Yipee!!! the sec1s by now were starting to get more enthu n noisy...
during luch, it was a little chaotic but then it got settler reali quickly... then me n felicia sat at one table to eat... clement joined us later n started complaining abt how disgusting the food looked... haha... then had to go for rush hour... i m station master with a guy called justin... then at 1st, me n justin went to talk to jeryl n regin whose station was nearby... then i went up to 3e4 to see my class... when it rained, justin n i moved up to the 4th floor n waited for the sec1s to come... later kiaweng came n talked to me... my station was rather hard to find. the clue was" it's the end" so it will naturally be at the end of the classroom blocks right?? then if rain will be on the top floor cos it is the end of the level liao... then the sec1s hav to do the sch cheer with pom poms... haha... the guys were like boys no need use right?? but everyone hav to use... To kia weng, thx for keping me company or else i will be so so so so bored!! haha...
after rush hour, was mass dance... oh yea... the sec 1s nw becoming more enthu... especially my class... the girls all started dancing the ketchup dance n dance quite well!~! oh yea!! e5 go!! the boys r ok la but can be more enthu a bit... after mass dance was dinner... after dinner we had camp preparation... so muc come up with one cheer... then the class hav no idea... so we mus help them think... oso some committee members came to join us.... ziyu, youwen, casey n andrea... then andrea n youwen came up with the cheer... but we didn manage to teach them by supper... for supper n bathing time, the level was split up to 2 groups. 1e1, e2, e3 n n1 bathed 1st while the rest had supper... then we switched over... the sec 1s got their camp shirt during supper... so yellow. after the baths, we tried to get the sec1s to sleep but the boys kept talking... as usual, the boys sleep in the class while the girls sleep in the hall... we shout shout shout n shout but they dun wan to keep quiet... finally chuan ye came n asked us to leave...
when we got down, we had to hav a briefing by mui teng n chuanye... then ivan came n talked to us... when he finshed talking, we realise he wasn the one giving the breifing... aiyo... waste our time lor... so tired then mus listen to him talk... after that, mr wong came to give us a debrief... then took attendance. muiteng n the other a i/c gave us a debrief... we oso got our camp shirt... it is soooooooooo yellow.... yuck... our sec2 camp shirt so nice lor... nw so yellow... anyway, during the debrief i was falling asleep liao... it is only laying with felicia's pen that kept me awake... haha... after debrief, we went to bathe... the water was soooooooooooooo cold!! my body temperature was higher than the water lor... eee....... then all the girls were screaming when they 1st stepped into the shower.... we brought the gym mats down to use to sleep then we saw edward of 2e7 i think trying to be macho n take one mat alone... aiyo then while taking it out of the hall(we couldn make too much noise wait the sec1s wake up), he trip n fell onto the gym mat... then me n felicia strted laughing... alll the way down... then we laught until cannot carry the mat... lol we wanted to sleep in the basketball coust but mdm lau didn allow... so we slept in the canteen instead... with felica heng n shi yuan... in the middle of the night, i kept waking up n look at felicia b4 going back to sleep... the there this time when i woke up n saw a guy sleeping on the benches... i thought it was the camp a i/c but in the morning, i looked n realise it was ernest...
after we changed for flag raising, we went for a briefing n bought coffee... after that me n felicia walked around the sch to see our classmates... then we brought the sec1s to the parade square... all of us so yellow... everyone... after flag raising we had breakfast before enrichment agian... while having breakfast, there is this boy in e5 who keep torturing me... keep talking non-stop n like to argue one... then his name sounded like go shopping so i called him shopping king... haha... then there is this other guy called titus... so cute... he look like those chinese shows that xiao hulu... haha... but he is very nice... for enrichement, my class went to i cube studio... all the facilitators chiong for the sofa... n we all fell asleep down there except when we needed to help the sec1s with the games... we had abt 3 1/2 hours of sleep so naturally we felt tired... there was this game which was called adjective name... means they hav to find an adjective beginning with the same letter as their name... so i took this group n the boys called themsleves as follows... jackass jovon, gong gary n horrible jien hsiu(he used his last name). anyway, they were making a lot of noise... for recess, i saw e1 ppl going for pe lesson n wincent has grown so tall...
after enrichment, we went for lunch n the lunch was horrible... no offence ernest... then went for rush hour... n spent a boring 4 hours with justin... ok... i m not going to describe the dumb thing u did but next time when ppl try to tlak to u, pls like try to hav a conversation with them... if not, it will be very very boring... ok... after rush hour is campfire prep... mus teach the classes their cheers then mus get them to be loud n marymoon... they still didn wan to hold hand lor... aiyo... then mus go around n make them hold hand... however, the class hav become more enthu but still not loud enough, so the class cheer was cancelled...
we were supposed to hav a real campfire but it was raining so hav gangshow... which is so dumb la... i mean the fire... the campfire reali made the sec1s more enthu!! e5 go!! the girls especially... the boys, yes gary n gang so not enthu n make a lot of noise... then everyone were screaming at the top of their voices especially the facilitators... all competing with each other to see which class is the loudest n can get more points... lol... i noe it is lame... but at that point, everyone is high... n crazy... especially felicia[meow] haha... then we dance the marymoon dance... me n felicia danced the spastic version of the chorus... haha... it was felicia's brilliant idea... then got the chicken dance, ketchup dance n funky chicken... so fun!! one of the best campfire's i hav been to, besides the zhonghua scouts n guides one...
after the fun, we went down to see the reali campfire cos it wasn raining anymore... the classes jus stood around the corridors while the facilitators all rushed to the 1s floor to see!! so cool... i love campfires!! yea... after campfire, we went for supper/bathing timr/reflection like the day b4... the boys so kiasu, all want to bathe when the time is not up yet... they smelly we smelly too lor... anyway, when we let them go, the all chiong for the toilet like the 1st one there will get a prize like that... it was a realli funny sight... after they bathe, we turned off the lights for them to sleep... but i guess they were still too hyper from the campfire... keep talking... n i was losing my voice alr... finally we went down for debrief n took attendance... after that, we went to bathe n the water was again freezing cold... after bathing, we went to play with my handphone... took photos n video... lol...(felicia, i still hav that video... u wan??-winks-) then i duno for wad reason, i started calling yizhen n felicia retarded pigs... then they copied me n called me that too... u noe the story of the 3 little pigs... we were all debating who was the pig which build the brick house... we oh-yam-pei-ya-som n guess wad?! i won!! haha... i build the brick house, felicia, built the straw house... n yizhen built the stick house...
n though we took supper, we still felt hungry so we went to look for food... for duno wad reason, we started saying" u noe y we are hungry?? cos we are retarded pigs...", "u noe y we r pigs?? cos we are retarded..." n so on... very lame... i noe... after eating, we went to the amphitheatre to chit chat.... after a while,we went up to the hall to sleep... but felicia n i didn sleep till like 3.20 in the morning... we were talking abt some stuff n laughing... then felicia told me to close my eyes n talk... but i couldn do it... so i opened my eyes n talked to her... next, she said" u nv close ur eyes lor..." i aksed her" how u noe??" n she replied"cos i nv close my eyes too..." so dumb right?? lol... that is the felicia we noe... sigh... haha
after we woke up, we went for a briefing agian... then ms tan wanted us to hav our 5 minutes of fame so we had to go up n do the zhonghua cheer n the macho cheer[hurgh... felicia... i did it!! hehe] after breakfast, we went to do area cleaning... we quickly finished cleaning the classrooms n taught the boys the class cheer cos there was going to be a competition later... they were loud!! can hear from 2 classrooms away!! n they were jus the boys!! surprising lor... cos they very quiet... after cleaning the classrooms, we went to clean the canteen... n this time, the whole class did the cheer... they were loud as well... n i was losing my voice alr... started to sound manly alr... when we went back to the hall, we practiced the cheer one more time n we had time to chit chat with the sec1s n we did the marymoon dance n ketchup dance... so fun!! hehe... after 2 days, they still can be quite shy... but oso can be enthu... i noe i m contradicting myself... but it is true... for some they r reali quiet but there r reali noisy ones... after the class cheer, they did some survey form... n we watched a video clip of the camp... so sad...camp going to end... then we danced ketchup n marymoon for one last time during the sec 1 orientaiton camp... after that was prize-giving ceremony... n e5 won 2nd prize... although it is nt the 1st but at least we won smth... n after doing some administrative stuff, it is the end of camp... after a short briefing, we all could leave...but at that time yizhen n i were still feeling enthu, so we went for guides...
but after a meeting with ms chan during guides, we were all dozing off so we left... but guess wad?? the person who knew the code to open the student centre was missing... so yizhen n i had to wait for the councilors to finish the meeting cos our bags r inside... after getting our bags,we took a taxi n went home... while watching tv, i fell asleep... too tired... n i had a very bad sore throat... argh... gtg eat dinner... talk abt cca orientation next time... bye... =) hugh[for felicia] lol =)
